Flying to the North There are regular flights from Heathrow and Stansted with Cyprus Turkish Airlines (KTHY) to Ercan airport in North Cyprus. Flights are also available from some other airports including Manchester and Glasgow. There are also flights with Turkish Airlines. These usually operate via Istanbul. All flights touch down in Turkey. Passengers for Ercan remain on board whilst those for Turkey disembark. This process takes approximately 45 minutes. Flying to the South As a result of recent political changes, it is now possible to cross the border between the north and south of the island. Flights go directly to Larnaca with British Airways. We arrange for a taxi to collect from the airport and to take you over the border to the house. (It is theoretically possible that the border might be closed, but this has not happened since it opened several years ago).
