Flying to the North
There are regular flights from Heathrow and Stansted with Cyprus Turkish Airlines (KTHY) to the small, modern airport of Ercan. Flights are also available from some other airports including Manchester and Glasgow.
All flights touch down in Turkey. Passengers for Ercan remain on board whilst those for Turkey disembark.  This process takes approximately 45 minutes.
Flying to the South
As a result of recent political changes, it is now possible to cross the border between the north and south of the island.  Flights go directly to Larnaca with British Airways. We arrange for a taxi to collect from the airport and to take you over the border to the house. (It is theoretically possible that the border might be closed, but this has not happened since it opened several years ago).

Booking Flights

Flights can be booked directly to Northern Cyprus via:

  • Cyprus Turkish Airlines (0207 930 4851). Please note that the office in London is often very busy and it can take some time to get through.
  • Green Island Holidays (0207 637 7338). These act as agents for Cyprus Turkish Airlines.

Flights can be booked to Southern Cyprus via:

  • British Airways (scheduled flights) www.britishairways.com You will need an EU passport. Outside the main holiday periods prices can be very reasonable.
  • Monarch, Thomas Cook or other charter airlines.  NB: It is recommended that you fly to Larnaca rather than Paphos, as Paphos is a considerable distance away.

Our agent in Cyprus can arrange taxi transfers from the airport to the house.  A taxi from the airport costs about £25 (one way) from Ercan and takes 45-50 minutes.  From Larnaca, the cost of a taxi is £50 (one way), and takes 2 to 3 hours.

Unless you are familiar with Karmi, we recommend using a taxi from the airport rather than picking up a hire car.
